
Biography
Erdrick Pérez-González is a professor in the Department of Civil and Water Engineering at Université Laval. His research focuses on performance evaluation and monitoring of geotechnical infrastructure. He studies the behavior and degradation of geomaterials, develops methods for monitoring and updating models, and integrates this information into risk-based management and decision-making. His work combines laboratory testing, field instrumentation, and numerical modeling, with applications to transportation infrastructure, dams, dikes, and other earthworks. He is a member of CRIBAR.
